Administrative Tribunal Support Service of Canada
The Administrative Tribunal Support Service of Canada (ATSSC) is responsible for providing support services and facilities to 11 federal administrative tribunals through a single, integrated service organization. To assess the communication needs and resources of the Tribunals, the Hillbrooke Group developed a strategic communication report that included a high-level assessment of overall capacity and made recommendations on how to strengthen internal communications using change communication activities.
Canadian Medical Association
Leveraging their leadership role in Canada's national health care-system, the Canadian Medical Association issued a call for a comprehensive national seniors strategy in the lead up to and during the 2015 election. The Hillbrooke Group provided strategic advice and developed an approach to frame the strategy, targeted national and regional print, broadcast and online media, and secured extensive opportunities for CMA spokespeople. We continue to provide strategic communication and media relation services to the CMA.
International Institute of Communications
For 11 consecutive years, the Hillbrooke Group has produced, managed and delivered the high-profile IIC Canada annual conference. We provide turn-key event management services that include facility and supplier contract negotiations, program marketing, on-line registration and conference delivery, delegate services and media relations. The annual conference has become a popular event for Canadian and international speakers and attracts hundreds of senior broadcast and telecom regulators and executives.
Library of Parliament
In the run-up to both the 2011 and the 2015 federal elections, the Hillbrooke Group supported the Library of Parliament in the planning and implementation of multi-faceted welcome and orientation programming for newly elected and returning members of the 41st and 42nd Parliaments. We also provided strategic advice related to the Library's new focus on client services and digital access.
Palliative Care Matters
Working with key national health stakeholders, the Hillbrooke Group developed a proactive media and social media campaign aimed at telling Canadians the story of a national citizen driven palliative care initiative that put the public at the center of the conversation. We leveraged our long standing media relationships to inform Canadians about the important palliative care policy options developed by lived experiences and current palliative care research. The campaign helped to inform and educate Canadians, governments and health care organizations about the important need for Canada to develop consistent and timely access to high-quality national palliative care.
University of Ottawa
The University of Ottawa is the largest bilingual (English-French) university in the world. With the launch of its new capital campaign, the Hillbrooke Group was engaged to complete an audit to determine if the marketing and communications department had the necessary processes and capacity to strengthen and protect the reputation of the university and to support its new strategic vision. Key deliverables included an on-line bilingual survey for employees, a SWOT analysis, comparative analysis involving best practice research from three other large Canadian universities and recommendations on activities and tactics to help change and shape a new communications culture.
XXI World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics
Based in London, England, the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics hosts a triennial World Congress that draws more than 7,000 women’s health scientists, clinicians, and other professionals from around the world to discuss the latest science and best clinical practices. In 2015, the Congress was held in Vancouver. The Hillbrooke Group provided the client with a communications approach focusing on multiple communication channels (traditional and social media) to help build awareness and profile and extend stakeholder relationships.
The Hillbrooke Group developed creative visuals and products to showcase the extensive renovation of one of HR Reit’s premiere downtown properties in Ottawa, 160 Elgin. With the slogan – Prepare for Wow – the campaign focused on the key areas of the building and how it would be transformed over 18 months. HR Reit is a Canadian company with a diversified portfolio of office, commercial, and retail properties in North America.
