Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada
The Government of Canada announced the Innovation Supercluster Initiative (ISI) in Budget 2017 to boost the capacity and growth of various sectors in the Canadian economy. ISI represents a new model for economic development that leverages the strengths of industry, small- and medium-sized businesses, academia and NGO platforms. The Hillbrooke Group developed a strategic communications plan to advance the work of the five superclusters, showcase ISI successes and help to position the initiative within the context of an economic development approach.

Canadian Air Transport Security Authority
Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is a Crown corporation responsible for providing security screening at designated airports across Canada. In 2019, the Government of Canada signaled its intent to transition the organization to a not-for-profit entity that would be subject to federal regulation but managed by representatives from the aviation industry. The goal was to modernize CATSA's governance model and performance standards such as wait-time service levels. The Hillbrooke Group has worked alongside CATSA executives to deliver internal communications plans and content as the vision for a new designated screening authority evolves. While COVID-19 has put the transition on hold, the Hillbrooke Group continues to support CATSA as a communications advisor.
First Nations Tax Commission
The capacity to establish and manage their own taxation systems is central to the autonomy and fiscal health of First Nations communities across Canada. The First Nations Tax Commission (FNTC) regulates, supports and advances First Nation taxation under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act. The Hillbrooke Group managed the development of the FNTC's Annual Report that detailed the organization's activities and financial performance for 2019-2020. This work involved research, report writing and design.
First Nations Infrastructure Institute
First Nations communities have long found that their infrastructure projects take too long to develop, cost too much to build and do not last long enough. This reality contributes to poor social and economic outcomes. The First Nations Infrastructure Institute (FNII) is an evolving organization with its sights set on delivering quality planning services to First Nations communities under the umbrella of the First Nations Fiscal Management Act. The Hillbrooke Group is currently supporting FNII with strategic communications planning and implementation.

Additional services provided including developing crisis communications and business continuity plans.
